The Sheriff's Office is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred a short time ago, today, April 27, 2023, at approximately 6:00 p.m. at an address on Thomas Atkins Road on Lady's Island.
One subject has been detained. Expect an increased law enforcement presence in the area of Sea Island Parkway and Thomas Atkins Road as the investigation continues.
