Hawai‘i Police Department’s South Hilo Community Policing Section invites members of the public to join them for Coffee with a Cop on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the downtown Hilo Starbucks, 438 Kilauea Avenue, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
This is a great opportunity for community members to meet and talk story with their district police officers over a cup of coffee. Topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to answering questions and discussing neighborhood community issues.
Additional Coffee With a Cop events in Hilo are scheduled for next month as well, with one planned on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Safeway Starbucks and one at the Starbucks adjacent to Prince Kuhio Plaza on Friday, May 26, 2023. Both Hilo events in May are from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A community reminder will be published next month about the Hilo events as well.
