On Monday, May 1st through May 5th the flushing of hydrants will continue from about 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM.  Subject to daily events and conditions, the areas to be flushed are:

Pleasantville Road from South State Road to Round Hill Drive, Horsechestnut Lane, Carlton Avenue, Washburn Road, Patricia Lane, Stonington Heights, Doxbury Circle, Fox Run Road, Woodford’s Bend, Briars Corners, Pine Hill Court, Pea Pond Lane, Washburn Road, Ingham Road, Ash Road, Oak Road, Jackson Road, Valentine Road, Maple Road, Simpson Road, Satinwood Lane, Larch Road, Chappaqua Road, Dogwood Lane, Pebblebrook Way, Turtleback Way, Woodbridge Court, Brittany Court, Boulder Trail, Hardscrabble Lake Road, Round Hill Drive, Stephenson Terrace, Woodfield Road

As a result of this work, residents can expect discolored water at any time (but particularly) during the day starting from 8:00 AM and continuing to 3:00 PM. You may wish to alter such activities such as your laundry routine: avoiding these time periods in particular.  However, even if discolored, continuing laboratory testing has indicated that in the past the water has contained no harmful bacteria.

Flushing will continue, section by section for several weeks until the entire Village distribution system is flushed.
