   April is Autism Awareness Month. The Maple Shade Police Department now has window decals available for residents with special needs.  Information sheets are available at Maple Shade Police Department Headquarters. Please complete the form and return it to the records department, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. The completed form must be returned to the records department in order to receive the decal. The decal should be placed on your front door to alert first responders that there is an individual with special needs residing at that home. The information on that form will help first responders should they need to communicate with the individual, possibly saving valuable time during an emergency.  All information is confidential and will only be used if needed during an emergency.
