On Friday, April 28, 2023, at approximately 10:30am, SCV deputies responded to Valencia High School in Santa Clarita regarding a physical altercation between two students. During the altercation, a 15 year old male student suffered a puncture wound as a result of being stabbed. He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Deputies arrived on scene and detained all involved parties. During the investigation, the school was placed on a soft lockdown. A thorough investigation resulted in the arrest of a 15 year old male for assault with a deadly weapon, who was later transported to Sylmar Juvenile Hall.
