NWS Issues Flood Watch Through This Evening 
Fair Lawn Emergency Management is continuing to monitor a second low pressure system that will affect our area for the rest of the day. This next round of rain can produce another 1 to 2 inches of rainfall by midnight. The heaviest rain bands will cause flash flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of small creeks, streams, and other low lying and flood prone locations. Winds will be 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Fair Lawn Emergency Management will continue to monitor this situation and issue updates as necessary.
