* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 400 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly across portions of the advisory area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Sandy Hook, Somerset, Edison, Lakewood, Middletown, Old Bridge, Howell, and East Brunswick. - This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8 and 13. Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 58 and 59...and between mile markers 61 and 67. Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 1 and 16...and between mile markers 26 and 34. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 10.
