* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, including the following counties, in northeast New Jersey, Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union. In southeast New York, Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), New York (Manhattan), Queens and Richmond (Staten Island).

* WHEN...Until 630 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 507 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rainfall moving north from central New Jersey. Rainfall rates of one half to three quarters of an inch per hour are expected. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of one half to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
