* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, including the following counties, in southern Connecticut, Fairfield. In northeast New Jersey, Bergen. In southeast New York, Rockland and Westchester.

* WHEN...Until 715 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 550 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of one half to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Yonkers, Stamford, New Rochelle, White Plains, New City, Port Chester, Ossining, Peekskill, Nanuet, Haverstraw, Tarrytown, Mount Kisco, Dobbs Ferry, Nyack, Tappan, Greenwich, Harrison, Scarsdale, Pearl River and Oradell. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
