Registration for National Night Out 2023 is now OPEN for the City of Fairfield!

Registration for National Night Out 2023 is now OPEN for the City of Fairfield!

Fairfield neighborhoods are invited to participate in National Night Out this year on Tuesday, August 1 from 5pm-8pm. On this day, residents in neighborhoods throughout the City of Fairfield are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights, and spend an evening outside with neighbors, Fairfield Police, Fairfield Fire, and City officials.

National Night Out is an annual crime prevention event and community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie that make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

We are excited to celebrate 40 years of this crime prevention initiative in neighborhoods throughout the entire city.

During National Night Out, neighborhoods host a variety of events ranging from small potlucks, front yard chats, and BBQs to block parties, ice cream socials, and much more! This is your chance to be creative, have fun, and celebrate your neighborhood!

New this year for the 40th anniversary, we are hosting our very first centralized National Night Out event in our Downtown! On Tuesday, August 1 from 5-8 pm, join our downtown businesses and residents for a night out against crime. Scavenger Hunts, Free Food, games, prizes, and Karaoke will fill the downtown on National Night Out. In honor of another 80s invention, we’re featuring the Marty McFly Back to the Future Truck under the canopy on the 600 block of Madison St!

Ready to unite your neighborhood for a night out against crime? Registration for NNO 2023 officially opens Monday, May 1 at 8 am and closes Monday, July 17 at 5 pm. Registration is FREE and gives Fairfield Police, Fairfield Fire and City of Fairfield representatives an opportunity to attend local neighborhood events as time and circumstances permit.

YOUR EVENT MUST BE REGISTERED TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR POLICE, FIRE, AND OR CITY OFFICIALS TO VISIT.
The first 15 registrants receive an official NNO2023 gift basket for your party. Find out how your neighborhood can participate on our National Night Out page.  Register your neighborhood event today at https://tinyurl.com/FFPDNNO2023

We look forward to joining our community once again for a night out against crime!
