* WHEN...Until 645 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 307 AM EDT, the heavy rain has ended but water levels on area creeks, rivers, and streams were still rising. The gauge at Griggstown along the Millstone River has now exceeded moderate flood stage of 12.0 feet. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over the last 24 hours. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Somerville, Somerset, Bridgewater, Dover, Hopatcong, Middlesex, Bound Brook, Manville, Hackettstown, Wharton, Blairstown, and Mount Arlington. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 15 and 37. Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 11 and 35.
