Incident Summary:
 
On May 1, 2023, at 8:13 am, the Petaluma Police Department received a call regarding a runaway juvenile. Twelve-year-old Sydney Fisher was last seen by her mother at 7:30 am this morning. Fisher did not arrive at school and a note was later discovered indicating she had run away.
 
At approximately 1:35 pm, Fisher was located by a family member on the east side of Petaluma.  She has returned safely to her residence.  The Petaluma Police Department would like to thank the members of the community who provided information as to Fisher’s whereabouts.
