Community event set for Sunday, May 21st
The Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Cloverdale Citrus Fair, is hosting “The Longest Table” event on Sunday, May 21st, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on First Street. The Longest Table is the brainchild of Debra Jack, a part-time Cloverdale and Bay Area resident who learned of this event in the Chelsea District of New York City. The Longest Table is an opportunity to “break bread” as a community and meet your neighbors.
Anyone who'd like to attend is asked to bring their own food, place settings & utensils. Food can also be purchased at local food establishments. Beer and wine sales are available, but there will be no outside alcohol allowed.
The Citrus Fair has graciously donated tables & chairs. AlVFilm is donating the tablecloths.
First St. between S. Cloverdale Boulevard and Main St. will be closed to vehicle traffic on Sunday, May 21st, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate travel routes during that time.
