As some of you may be aware long distance services to and from Adak Island using AT&T have had service disruptions for some time. Technicians are on island and have communicated a prolonged outage until tomorrow though service may be restored earlier. This affects a number of entities even if your long distance is not "thru" AT&T. You may experience rapid fast busy tones, dropped calls and errors such as all circuits are busy. If you use cellular service a method to bypass may be available through WiFi calling, however this will not guarantee results.
