The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM EDT this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...Volusia, Lake, Seminole, Orange, Brevard, and Osceola counties.
* WINDS...West 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values of 25 to 35 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any new or existing fires will be capable of rapid spread.
* AFFECTED AREAS: INLAND VOLUSIA ... NORTHERN LAKE COUNTY ... ORANGE ... SEMINOLE ... OSCEOLA ... COASTAL VOLUSIA ... SOUTHERN LAKE COUNTY ... INLAND NORTHERN BREVARD ...
