The Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics will pass through Westchester County today. Early this morning the run begins in lower Westchester and will proceed north throughout the day. We expect the Torch to pass through Ossining around 2pm. Our officers will receive the Torch on South Highland Avenue in the area of Charter Circle and carry it north on Route 9 to the Croton Point Avenue exit where we will pass it to the next jursidiction. Expect some delays along Route 9 as the escort works to keep runners safe.
