The Camarillo Police Department is proud to announce another “Coffee with a Cop” event. Coffee with a Cop brings deputies and community members together, over coffee, to discuss issues and learn more about resources, services, and needs of the community.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office has proudly provided police services to the City of Camarillo since its inception in 1964. Since that time, the Camarillo Police Department has expanded from basic patrol services to many specialized units such as the Traffic Bureau, Detectives Bureau, Special Enforcement Unit, Community Resources Unit, Crisis Intervention Team, and a team of professional support staff. All of these units of deputies and professional staff work to keep our city safe and informed.
On Thursday May 11, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, members of the Camarillo Police Department will be at Starbucks located at 4511 Las Posas Road; or as we know it, “the Starbucks by the railroad tracks”. Community trust is one of the key elements to the success of the Camarillo Police Department. By sitting down and having a simple conversation, deputies, and the community members they serve, can continue building and growing together.
The Camarillo Police Department would like to thank Starbucks for their partnership and ongoing support with these events. These events will continue at various local businesses throughout the year.
