On May 7th, 2023, the Burlington Township Police Department and FOP Lodge #84 are hosting the first annual Cardio for Cosmo 5k run/ 1 mile walk. Please expect delays in the area of the Municipal Complex located at 851 Old York Rd. Traffic will be delayed during portions of the event along Mill Ln and Jacksonville Rd, as the run travels on each of those roadways.

Residents living on these roads or in neighborhoods along those roadways are asked to be patient as traffic control units will keep traffic moving as quick as possible during the event. The event opens at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to conclude by 12:00 p.m. on the above date.

During the event, both Green Acres I and Green Acres II parks will be closed to thru traffic as they are being utilized for the event. There will be no sporting events at either location during the previously listed times. Parking for the event will be in the Green Acres II parking lot, 1001 Old York Rd, and overflow parking will be in the Burlington Township High School Parking lot and nearby by neighborhoods. Anyone who lives on the run route is encouraged to cheer on any runners as they pass by. The run begins at 9:00 a.m. with the walk to follow.
