Fire Weather Watch until 08:00PM Saturday

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Friday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening.

* AREA AND TIMING...Upper Rio Grande Valley and Lower Chama River Valley (Zone 121), Sangre de Cristo Mountains (Zone 122), and West Central Basin and Range (Zone 109) from noon to 8 pm Friday then again Saturday.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph Friday and Saturday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...6 to 12 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WEST CENTRAL BASIN AND RANGE ... UPPER RIO GRANDE VALLEY AND LOWER CHAMA RIVER VALLEY ... SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS
