This is to inform the residents and our corporate partners that Dickey Road and 129^th Street pavement resurfacing project will be starting on May 16^th.  This project will include milling and resurfacing the pavement on Dickey Road from the Roundabout to Michigan Avenue and on 129^th Street from the Roundabout to Dickey Road/BP Entrance Road.  The purpose of this project is to repair the substandard pavement conditions and improve the stability and longevity of the pavement which will be able to handle the increasing truck traffic serving the local businesses. 
The project contractor, Milestone Contractors will be starting work on the project on May 16.   On May 8^th, the Maintenance of Traffic signs will be installed to inform the drivers on the project.  The first phase of the project will involve closing the outside lanes on 129^th and on Dickey Rd (from 129^th to the canal) to perform the construction work.  The traffic will be moved to the inside lane.  The second phase of the project will involve working on the inside lanes and the traffic will be moved to the newly constructed outside lanes.
