Fire Weather Watch until 08:00PM Sunday

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire Weather Watch...which is in effect from Sunday morning through Sunday evening.

* AREA AND TIMING...Upper Rio Grande Valley and Lower Chama River Valley (Zone 121), Sangre de Cristo Mountains (Zone 122), Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124), Central Highlands (Zone 125), East Central Plains (Zone 126), Northeast Highlands (Zone 123), and Northeast Plains (104) from noon to 8 pm MDT today then again Saturday and Sunday.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph today, Saturday, and Sunday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...6 to 12 percent today, Saturday, and Sunday. Six to 10 consecutive hours of single digit humidity are likely today.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHEAST PLAINS ... UPPER RIO GRANDE VALLEY AND LOWER CHAMA RIVER VALLEY ... SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS ... NORTHEAST HIGHLANDS ... SANDIA AND MANZANO MOUNTAINS ... CENTRAL HIGHLANDS ... EAST CENTRAL PLAINS
