The Leonia Volunteer Fire Department, Company No. 1 will be hosting the town for a celebration marking their 125th Anniversary tomorrow, Saturday May 6th. The morning will feature a Muster of antique fire apparatus on Broad Avenue in and around Fire Headquarters at 1 Borough Place. Please be advsied that Broad Avenue from Fort Lee Road to Beechwood Place will be closed beginning at 8:00AM until approximately 1:00pm.  Please use Glenwood Ave and Grand Avenue as an alternater route if you are travelling through Leonia. 

The Fire Department welcomes all residents to attend the Muster starting at 9:00AM and the main celebration in Wood Park beginning at approximately 12:30PM.  The event will feature food, beer, refreshments and a live band. The celebration is scheduled to end at 7:00PM. Parking in and around Wood Park will be limited, if you are able to walk, you are encouraged to do so. Parking is available at the Municipal Lots located on Beechwood Place and Elm Place, as well as surrounding streets. 

The event is open admission: there is no entrance fee or tickets needed. We expect the Anniversary Celebration to be a good time for all ages and hope to see you there.
