SUSPENSION OF BURN PERMITS 
Due to extremely dry grass conditions causing a high fire danger potential, the City is suspending the issuing of any burn permits for in town residential fires until May 31, 2023. Any recently issued burn permits will be considered invalidand will be re-evaluated at the end of this month.
Out of town bonfires do not require a burn permit. Please use caution when having a bonfire out of town and keep the fire away from dry grass. Please have a fire extinguisher or a large volume of water to properly extinguish the fire prior to leaving it unattended.
