Water Sprinkler Reminder-  We want to remind you that as you are opening your sprinklers that Memorial Day starts the beginning of the watering restrictions. The timers should be set according to your zone which can be found on the Borough’s website at  https://www.hhkborough.com/watersewer-departments/pages/watering-schedule-restrictions.  Many concerns residents have over high water bills are due to excessive watering and non-adherence to the watering restrictions.
 
The Water Department will be continuing fire hydrant flushing throughout the Borough, see the attached schedule. We encourage all residents to avoid doing laundry on the days we are in your zone as brown water is possible. If you have brown water, simply run the water water until clear. NJ DOT has informed the Borough on or about May 8th RT 17 North will be down to one lane nightly from the Linwood Ave. exit up to Ramsey for repairs and line painting. For the next few weeks.
