The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Saturday. The Fire Weather Watch for Saturday is no longer in effect.
* AREA AND TIMING...Upper Rio Grande Valley and Lower Chama River Valley (Zone 121), Sangre de Cristo Mountains (Zone 122), Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124), Central Highlands (Zone 125), East Central Plains (Zone 126), Northeast Highlands (Zone 123), and Northeast Plains (104) until 8 pm MDT this evening and again Saturday and Sunday.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph through this evening, Saturday, and Sunday.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...6 to 12 percent this afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday. Four to 8 consecutive hours of single digit humidity are likely through this evening and again Saturday and Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
