Eastern Johnson County in southern Illinois... Williamson County in southern Illinois... Saline County in southern Illinois... Northeastern Jackson County in southern Illinois... Southwestern Hamilton County in south central Illinois... Franklin County in south central Illinois...

* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 225 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Royalton to 9 miles south of Creal Springs to near Vienna, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. Reports of quarter sized hail have been recieved. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Marion, Herrin, Harrisburg, West Frankfort, Benton, Du Quoin, Carterville, Eldorado, Johnston City, Mcleansboro, Christopher, Rend Lake Area, Sesser, Zeigler, Crainville, Cambria, Royalton, Energy, Galatia and Hurst.
