Flash Flood Warning until 02:00AM Monday

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Eastern Fisher County in west central Texas... Western Jones County in west central Texas...

* Until 200 AM CDT.

* At 1053 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across western Jones Country...moving east at 20 mph. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in western Jones county. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Anson, Hamlin, Roby, Hawley, Mccaulley, Neinda, Sylvester, Noodle, Longworth, The Intersection Of Us-180 And Ranch Road 126, Hitson, Truby, Stith, Busby and Hodges. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... CO Rd. 444 crossing Noodle Creek. While the rainfall will likely move east and end over Fisher and Jones county around midnight. Streets and roadways will likely remain flooded. Do not drive through water of unknown depth.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FISHER, TX ... JONES, TX

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
