Incident:                         Police Seek Assistance in Drive-by Shooting

Incident Summary-  

On 05/07/23, at approximately 4:11pm, the Petaluma Police Department received a 9-1-1 call regarding a shooting from a moving vehicle in the area of Crinella Drive and Baywood Drive. It was reported that a passenger in a vehicle fired a round at the victim (on his motorcycle) with a handgun after a disagreement over a right of way at the previous intersection. The suspect vehicle fled northbound on Crinella Drive. Petaluma police officers responded and contacted the victim motorist who was not struck and uninjured. The suspect vehicle was described as a small or mid-size SUV, light in color.
