Fire Weather Watch until 10:00PM Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire Weather Watch...which is in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.

* AREA AND TIMING...Northwest Plateau (101), North Central Mountains (120), Upper Rio Grande Valley and Lower Chama River Valley (121), Sangre De Cristo Mountains (122), West Central Mountains (105), Middle Rio Grande Valley (106), Sandia and Manzano Mountains (124), Central Highlands (125) and the West Central Basin and Range (109) from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...South to southwest 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...7 to 12 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHWEST PLATEAU ... WEST CENTRAL MOUNTAINS ... MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY ... WEST CENTRAL BASIN AND RANGE ... NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS ... UPPER RIO GRANDE VALLEY AND LOWER CHAMA RIVER VALLEY ... SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS ... SANDIA AND MANZANO MOUNTAINS ... CENTRAL HIGHLANDS
