MDOT Project Update: US-31BR over Black Creek, Muskegon County 
UPDATE: Both Northbound and Southbound will have a single lane closure on Seaway Dr. (US-31BR) starting today 5/8/23.
Work begins on Monday, May 8th on US-31BR over Black Creek. Starting at 8:30am, a single lane closure will be in place on northbound US-31BR between Shettler Road and Hoyt Street. On southbound US-31BR a shoulder closure will be in place. These closures will remain in place until the project traffic shift, tentatively early June.
The work is part of a $10M project to replace the US-31BR bridges over Black Creek. This is a 2-year project with the first bridge replacement taking place between May and November 2023.
