Friendship Playground is CLOSED today, Monday,(5/8) to replace surface 
The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) would like to update the community that Friendship Playground is CLOSED today, Monday, May 8, 2023, for the replacement of surface Engineered Wood Fiber (woodchips).
The playground is expected to reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
