DETAILS: On Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 11:53pm, Officers were sent to the Amarillo Social Club, 1619 S. Kentucky, on a robbery. The employees delayed calling the police for about 45 minutes; the robbery occurred at about 11:10pm. The victim told officers a vehicle backed up to the business, and a man got out of the car and came inside. He handed the employee a note demanding money and pointed a gun at the employee. The employee gave him the money, and the man got back into the vehicle and left the scene. Amarillo PD Violent Crimes are assigned this investigation.
