Fairview Fire Rescue is developing a strategic plan to help clearly define the department’s mission and goals and provide direction for the next seven to 10 years. After completing the strategic plan, Fairview Fire Rescue will be eligible to apply for Best Practices Accreditation through the Texas Fire Chiefs Association. This accreditation helps departments achieve organizational excellence, which ultimately enhances firefighter safety and long-term planning. It also improves standard operating guidelines, risk management and other administrative functions. Fairview Fire Rescue is eager to pursue this accreditation and confirm that the department is among the very best in the state.
