We are happy to announce that our 2023 Kid’s Bike Rodeo will be held on Saturday, June 3^rd from 9am to Noon. Onsite registration will start about 8:30am. The event will be taking place in the YMCA parking lot adjacent to the Janesville Town Square on Festival Street.
 
Please join us for this fun, free, community event and enjoy some Marcos Pizza or hot dogs cooked by the police department.  We will have free bike checks, helmet fittings and a fun course for the kids to ride and learn some great bike safety skills.  The free community event helps teach the youth of Janesville how to bicycle safely and correctly. Michaels Cycles, Velocity Multi Sport, the Janesville Velo Club and the Bike Elves will all be helping with bike checks, helmet fitting check and will have an obstacle course that your kids can ride through to learn bike safety skills. Janesville PD bike officers will be giving a small demonstration at the end of the event.
 
Please note – a helmet is required to participate. Please bring your own bike and helmet or use a bike and helmet provided on-site.
