* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Miami County in east central Kansas... Linn County in east central Kansas... Cass County in west central Missouri... Western Henry County in west central Missouri... Bates County in west central Missouri... Southwestern Johnson County in west central Missouri...

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 550 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Cleveland to Drexel to 7 miles southeast of Linn Valley to near Fulton, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
