* WHAT...Hydrologic flooding caused by snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Colorado and west central Colorado, including the following counties, Montezuma, Dolores, San Miguel, and Montrose.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas along the Dolores and San Miguel Rivers. Some low-lying river crosses and river side campgrounds may become inaccessible or inundated with water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 554 PM MDT, gauge reports indicated snowmelt. Rapid river rises will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Disappointment Creek, Sal Creek, La, Summit Canyon, East Paradox Creek, San Miguel River, Big Gypsum Creek, Cross Canyon, Glade Canyon, Narraguinnep Canyon, Coyote Wash, Tabeguache Creek, Bell Creek, Dolores River, Nicholas Wash, Little Gypsum Creek, Yellow Jacket Canyon, Dove Creek, Atkinson Creek and West Paradox Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where you are relative to rising rivers, streams, or creeks as river levels often peak overnight.
