Red Flag Warning until 08:00PM Thursday

AAA The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Thursday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* AREA AND TIMING...Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124), Central Highlands (Zone 125) East Central Plains (Zone 126) from 11 AM to 10 PM MDT today and from Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...South to southwest 25 to 40 mph with gusts to 50 or 55 mph today, then west and northwest winds at 20 to 30 mph with gusts from 40 to 50 mph on Thursday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...7 to 15 percent each afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SANDIA AND MANZANO MOUNTAINS ... CENTRAL HIGHLANDS ... EAST CENTRAL PLAINS
