* WHERE...Portions of central Louisiana and west central Louisiana, including the following parishes, in central Louisiana, Avoyelles and Rapides. In west central Louisiana, Vernon.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall are expected to redevelop this morning into the afternoon in the watch area. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
