SUSPECT(S): Raymond Jensen, 29-year-old, Male Resident of Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): Jesse Hart, 39-year-old, Male Resident of Yucca Valley
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 5:08 am, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, assigned to the town of Yucca Valley, responded to the 7100 block of Barberry Avenue, for a report of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian. The victim, Jesse Hart, was asleep inside of his vehicle when it was stolen from the location. Hart woke up during the theft and jumped from the moving vehicle. Hart sustained minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.
During the investigation, deputies identified Raymond Jensen as the suspect. Jensen was located at his residence and taken into custody without incident.
Jensen was booked into West Valley Detention Center, in Rancho Cucamonga, for PC 207 Kidnapping and is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
