On Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 5:15pm, Middleton Police were dispatched to a residence in the 5500 block of Century Avenue for the report of a stabbing that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, police found a 44 year old male victim with multiple stab wounds.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment and is expected to survive.

Police also located a 20 year old male suspect in the same residence.   Police determined the two men knew each other and an altercation had taken place between them.  The altercation ended after the suspect stabbed the victim.  A pocketknife was recovered at the scene.  

Givon D. Walker, 20, of Middleton, was booked into Dane County Jail on tentative charges of First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety. There is no danger to the public.  This is an ongoing investigation.
