* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Fisher and Jones.
* WHEN...Until 1245 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 936 PM CDT, Up to 5 inches of rain has fallen this evening. Although the heaviest rainfall has shifted east, moderate rainfall will continue across the area. Low lying areas and city streets will likely remain flooded and impassable. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.75 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Anson, Hamlin, Rotan, Roby, Sylvester, Mccaulley, Longworth, Neinda, Noodle, Hobbs, Hitson, Busby, The Intersection Of Us-180 And Ranch Road 126, Capitola, Gannon, Truby, Tuxedo, Us-180 Near The Fisher-Scurry County Line and Stith. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... SH 70 crossing The Draw Southeast of Rotan, US 180 crossing 7 miles west of Roby, FM 611 crossing 1 mile west of Rotan.
* AFFECTED AREAS: FISHER, TX ... JONES, TX
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
