Flood Advisory until 12:45AM Saturday

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Callahan, Coleman, Concho, Runnels and Taylor.

* WHEN...Until 1245 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 944 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a band of heavy rain due to thunderstorms...from Cross Plains to Oplin to Ballinger to Paint Rock to Eden. The storms were moving slowly north, while the area of storms was slowly moving east. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ballinger, Winters, Paint Rock, Eden, Cross Plains, Tuscola, Lawn, Benoit, Crews, Ivie Reservoir Near Concho Park Marina, Hatchel, Rowena, Millersview, Lowake, Bradshaw, Oplin, Eola, Dudley, Rowden and Eula. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 89 crossing Scott Hollow, FM 1929 crossing Fuzzy Creek, FM 1086 crossing Red Lake Creek, CR 348 crossing Coyote Creek, County Road 244 crossing North Prong Pecan Bayou, County Road 241 crossing North Prong Pecan Bayou, crossings along County Road 4071, County Road 244 crossing South Prong Pecan Bayou, crossings along County Road 249 and CR 116 crossing Pony Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
