* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Cherokee and Crawford.

* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 227 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pittsburg, Baxter Springs, Columbus, Girard, Frontenac, Galena, Arma, Cherokee, Weir, Mulberry, Scammon, Mccune, Walnut, West Mineral, Treece, Lowell, Sherman, Chicopee, Franklin, Roseland, Carona, Skidmore, Stippville, Beulah, Sherwin, Lone Oak, Hallowell, Crestline, Neutral, Ringo, Lawton, Greenbush, Faulkner, Polk, Riverton, Brazilton, Yale, Melrose, Croweburg and Englevale. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
