Narrative:
An investigation by the Thousand Oaks Police Department’s Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) and Directed Enforcement Unit (DEU) led to the arrest of a Camarillo resident who is suspected of using her vehicle as a deadly weapon which resulted in a collision in the City of Thousand Oaks.  The suspect also brandished a handgun at an unrelated witness at the scene of the collision before fleeing the area. 
 
On April 27th, 2023, Thousand Oaks Patrol deputies and detectives responded to a call of a traffic collision and brandishing of a handgun on Ventu Park Road at Highway 101 in the City of Thousand Oaks.  Upon arrival of law enforcement personnel, deputies learned the suspect fled the area in a black sedan.  Detectives interviewed witnesses and learned the driver of the black sedan used her vehicle in an aggressive manner, causing the victim to lose control of his vehicle which resulted in a collision.  The suspect also brandished a handgun at a witness before fleeing the area.  After a thorough investigation and review of surveillance video, detectives were able to identify the suspect as Sabrina Bolds. 
     
On May 12th, 2023, detectives contacted and arrested Bolds at her residence in Camarillo.  Bolds’ residence was searched pursuant to a signed search warrant, which resulted in detectives locating additional evidence connecting Bolds to this incident. 
 
Bolds was booked into the Ventura County Jail with a bail amount of $100,000. Charges include 245(a)(4) PC, Assault by Means Likely to Produce Great Bodily Injury, and 417.4 PC, Draw or Exhibit an Imitation Firearm.  Bolds is scheduled to be arraigned in Ventura County Superior Court on May 16th at 1:30pm.
