Next Week, Aberdeen residents, especially residents of Cliffwood Beach are invited to join us as we sit down and further discuss this proposed study/project with the U.S Army Corp of Engineers and the NJ Department of Environmental Protection regarding Cliffwood Beach. The proposed study and plan for the Raritan Bay and Sandy Hook Bay Coastal Storm Management needs the publics input so that we can better assist the actual needs of the residents in the area. There are two parts of this study, and Cliffwood Beach is in the northern part of the study. We have scheduled the meetings both on Wednesday, May 24th. One is at 2-4 pm in the Town Hall Courtroom - the other is at the Cliffwood Beach Community Center from 6pm to 8pm. This is our chance to have our voices heard about concerns the Army Corp/DEP should keep in mind when doing the study and creating a plan to better protect our beach from storms in the future. Light refreshments will be served.
