One killed in train crash in southern Vigo County 
On 05-15-2023 at 3:20pm, deputies responded to a crash on east Harlan Dr near Bono Rd. One on scene, deputies learned that a train had struck an SUV. Unfortunately the driver, and only occupant of the SUV, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The fatal crash team and the Vigo County Coroner’s office assisted with the investigation.
