Broadway Turf and Construction Project 
The Seaside School District released information regarding Broadway Field's upcoming re-turf and construction project.
The project begins Monday, May 22nd, with this first phase of the project completed the last week of June. Demolition of the older storage buildings will begin soon as well. Construction of the new softball field, which includes relocating the Herche Family Training Facility, will begin the week of July 10th, with completion in November. Football and soccer fall sports will not be impeded while construction continues.
In addition, the Seaside School District is working collaboratively with the non-profit Seaside Food Forest to find a new location for the Sunny Hunt Community Gardens, which are currently located at Broadway Field near the Herche Family Training Facility.
