Flood Advisory until 02:15AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Edgecombe, Franklin, Halifax, Nash, Vance and Warren.

* WHEN...Until 215 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1107 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Roanoke Rapids, Louisburg, Warrenton, Halifax, Scotland Neck, Franklinton, Norlina, Littleton, Enfield, Weldon, Whitakers, Castalia, Macon, Centerville, Arcola, Medoc Mountain State Park, Aventon, Airlie, Glenview and Southpointe And Morningstar Marinas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
