LOCATION: Sunnyvale Drive & Morongo Road, Twentynine Palms
SUSPECT(S): Rudy Garcia, 41-year-old male resident of Twentynine Palms
VICTIM(S): 41-year-old male resident of Twentynine Palms
SUMMARY: On Saturday, May 13, 2023, at approximately 9:41 p.m., Morongo Basin Station deputies were flagged down near the intersection of Sunnyvale Drive and Morongo Road, in Twentynine Palms. A 41-year-old male victim was located suffering from a stab wound. Through investigation, the deputies identfied the suspect as Rudy Garcia and located him nearby.
Deputies placed Garcia under arrest for PC 664/187, Attempted Murder and he was booked at West Valley Detention Center. Garcia is currently being held at West Valley Detention Centet in lieu of $1,000,000.00 bail.
