* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Coke, Runnels and Tom Green.
* WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 644 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms...from Tennyson to Orient to Harriet...moving east at 15 mph. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... San Angelo, Ballinger, Miles, Tennyson, Orient, Grape Creek, Harriet and Ballinger Lake. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 1692 crossing Concho River, FM 1692 crossing The Draw, FM 1692 crossing Sales Branch, Saynor crossing Mule Creek, Rawlins crossing, Juniper Road crossing just east of Highway 277, Ratliff crossing just east of Highway 277, Juniper crossing Juniper Creek, Poverty Canyon crossing Mule Creek and Mule Creek Road crossing Mule Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
